The schedule of the International Aluminium Congress will integrate papers related to the themes listed below, highlighting technological innovations, projects, processing, efficiency gains, productivity and quality, cost reduction, maintenance and/or environment related aspects, sustainability and industry 4.0:
Papers related to bauxite mining, alumina refining and/or reduction of primary aluminum.
Subcategories:
Papers related to aluminum smelting in the form of plates and billets which, afterwards, will suffer mechanic transformation; ingots; continuous smelting of sheets and rebars; piece smelting; and/or anti-alloys, as refiners and modifiers of structures and flows, such as liquid metal cleaning salts and others.
Subcategories:
Papers related to shaping processes, such as lamination, extrusion, manufacturing of wires and cables, stamping, forging, extrusion through impact, severe plastic transformation; and/or to matching processes, such as cutting, drilling, milling, and others; in addition to the development of alloys with advantages in relation to these processes.

Papers related to the diverse welding processes and techniques – such as MIG/TIG welding, spot welding through resistance, friction (FSW), laser, mechanical fixing (screws, rivets, settlement), adhesives, and others – involving aluminum alloys (aluminum with aluminum or aluminum with other materials).
